Meet Mike Young ↗Glendale is an established west Calgary community where detached-home site quality, older construction, renovation documentation, redevelopment potential and access can matter more than a community-wide average. The official 2021 Census profile counted 2,715 people in private households and 1,075 private households within the exact community profile geography used for this site. Single-detached houses represented 84% of occupied private dwellings, apartments in buildings with more than five storeys represented 10%, and 77% of private households were owner households. The largest reported construction cohort was 1960 or before at 69%, making effective age, systems, additions, permits, sewer or drainage questions and documented improvements central to the individual property review. These historical figures do not establish current prices, inventory or property condition.
Exact community-profile evidence is used for this guide. Historical Census context, current listing status and address-specific property evidence remain separate layers.
